Sfarsitul de iarna ne-a oferit ocazia sa il descoperim si am avut o surpriza placuta.
Muzeul este amplasat in zona de nord a Bucurestiului (aproape de Promenda Mall), in fostele hangare care in prima jumatate a secolului al XX-lea se aflau pe latura de sud a aerodromului militar Pipera. Acest aerodrom s-a infiintat în 1915 pentru perfectionarea pilotilor absolventi ai Scolii Militare de Pilotaj de la Cotroceni.
Expozitia este organizata in 2 zone: in aer liber si in interior in 2 foste hangare.
Noi l-am vizitat in cursul saptamanii si am fost singurii vizitatori asa ca am putut studia in voie toate exponatele :).
Ce mi-a placut foarte mult si a fost foarte atractiv pentru Sofia este faptul ca sunt expuse multe: avioane, elicoptere si mitraliere antiaeriene adevarate. Desi modelele sunt destul de vechi (din cate ne-a spus domnul de la paza sunt de prin anii ’50) Sofia a fost foarte impresionata de dimensiunea lor si de faptul ca a putut sa le studieze atat de aproape.

Legatura dintre cele 2 hangare se face printr-un pasaj care recreaza atmosfera unei strazi vechi din perioada interbelica, desi nu este foarte bogata in exponate zona are un farmec aparte si Sofia a stat destul de mult in aceasta zona ca sa observe unele detalii (avioane mici de jucarie, oameni care stau la restarant si un domn care ii ofera flori la ferasta, unei domnisoare).
